Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy
Integrative Counselling is a combined approach to therapy which integrates different elements of specific therapies. Rather than apply one particular form of therapy I can combine various techniques to the treatment, to meet your specific needs.
Integrative counselling supports the idea whereby a person’s perception is determined by a variety of factors; background, gender, culture, religion and so on. This is what makes us wonderfully unique.
Counselling and Psychotherapy is a learning orientated process that is used to explore the past and present to learn more about yourself. This is an open-ended approach and after every 6 sessions, we review your progress and how we move forward. The session will last for 50 minutes where we can discuss your needs openly and without judgement. I look forward to hearing from you.
Solution Focused Therapy
I offer a ‘Solution Focused Therapy' which is a type of counselling that usually lasts for 6-9 sessions.
This is focused on a short-term goal which is used to place attention on your present rather than your past, and is applied to a specific subject.
